Bruno Fernandes committed to Man Utd as Solskjaer burst-up slammed as ‘lies’

October 14, 2020

Bruno Fernandes’ camp has denied the Portugal star was involved in a bust-up with Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The playmaker reportedly went off at his teammates at half-time during the 6-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur.

It was also claimed that Fernandes was upset with Solskjaer for being substituted in the second-half.

A United insider – quoted by theMirror – said of the incident: “(Fernandes) laid into team-mates, accusing them of not upholding the proud name of Manchester United. He kept yelling, “We are supposed to be Manchester United. This shouldn’t be happening.

“It was clear that the manager also came under fire because he was going on about the wrong tactics.”

However, Sport Witness has quoted sources from the Fernandes camp who say those claims are ‘lies’.

Fernandes, 26, remains committed to Solskjaer’s plans and does not feel any spite towards the Norwegian.

United will be hoping to bounce back from their horrible loss to Spurs when they travel to Newcastle on Sunday.
