Court Dismisses Fred Nyanzi’s Application To Recount Votes, Orders Him To Pay Costs To Nsereko, EC

Mengo Chief Magistrate Esther Rebecca Nasambu has dismissed an application by Fred Nyanzi in which he sought for vote recount in Kampala Central Constituency.
The Magistrate ruled that Nyanzi failed to satisfy court for a vote recount.
Nyanzi was contesting the declaration of Muhammad Nsereko as the duly elected Kampala Central Member of Parliament (MP).
Nyanzi has been ordered to pay costs to Nsereko and the Electoral Commission who were the respondents in the matter.
