Singer Zani Lady C Lands Big Role In Holly Wood Movie, Little America

Besides Daniel Kaluuya who featured in the 2018 Ryan Coogler blockbuster, Black Panther, Ugandan singer, Susan Basemera a.k.a Zani Lady C is also doing great in Hollywood.

Zani Lady C popularly known for her song ‘Ndoowa’ left Ugandan for about 9 years and seems she is switching from music to acting full time.

After featuring in short film titled Gubagudeko with Mahershala Ali, and Can you keep a secret as the lead character, Zani Lady C also landed a role in Little America TV series that premiered January 17th.

Little America is about funny, romantic, heartfelt, inspiring and surprising true stories of immigrants in America. It features different acts in different countries and continents and for Zani Lady C, she says she didn’t land the role only because she is Ugandan but also because at the auditions, she proved to have the qualities that the crew was looking for.
