A Pass Calls Out Police, Reveals They Are A Disgrace To Uganda

August 2, 2024

Singer Bangonza Alexander also known as A Pass has called out Ugandan police saying they are a disgrace to the country.

He said that they often accuse Ugandans of not being peaceful yet they know that they are the most violent even when citizens decide to do something in a very peaceful way to be heard.

Recently Ugandans were protesting against corruption, they were walking to parliament to demand for answers and maybe request the resignation of the speaker of parliament Anita Among.

The protest wasn’t successful at all as they arrested those that tried to protest something that left other Ugandans scared of doing anything in fear of being arrested.

According to A Pass, Ugandans need to understand that they haven’t done anything wrong. Being called violent shouldn’t make them lose morale of protesting at all it’s their right.

He said police also knows the truth they know that Ugandans are peaceful they just don’t want to accept it and believe that they are actually peaceful.

“The police here are the most violent. It’s not the people. Ugandans are peaceful. There is nothing wrong in protesting as it is part of our rights and I encourage Ugandans to keep doing that if they have a chance,”
