Following a week of speculation, The Common Man’s Party (CMP) has indefinitely suspended its Secretary General, Moses Bigirwa over alleged misconduct.
Earlier this week, YouTuber, Kwezi Robinson, hosted Bigirwa and told him that he heard rumours that the party president, Mubarak Munyagwa was planning to summon a delegates conference and vote him out of the office. Bigirwa dismissed the talk and insisted nothing can happen without his knowledge.
Today, a letter from The Common Man’s Party addressed to the secretary independent electoral commission suspending Bigirwa Moses and appointing acting secretary general, Mrs. Ropan Scovia leaked to the press.

In a conversation with YouTubers, Munyagwa revealed that he hasn’t stepped a foot at the Common Man’s Party headquarters since general elections, claiming that he fears some rebels who are plotting against him.

Secretary general, Moses Bigirwa also revealed that he has tried reaching Munyagwa on several occasions in vain.
It should be noted that Bigirwa fell out with National Unity Platform (NUP) leaders and started his pressure group, Eastern revolutionary platform (ERP), where Munyagwa convinced him to join The Common Man’s Party.
Moses Bigirwa contested for the member of parliament Kamuli Municipality on The Common Man’s Party ticket in the recent concluded elections and lost to the NRM candidate.
