DJ Shiru To Quit Bukedde TV After Landing Mega Deal With Rival TV Station

News reaching us indicates that celebrated Disc Jokey, Kiberu Bashir aka DJ Shiru is quitting Bukedde and Urban TV after landing a juicy offer with a rival TV station.

Shiru who recently revealed that he was surviving on handouts after spending months without earning due to Covid-19 outbreak, is said to be finalising a move to Nation Media Luganda TV station, Spark TV.

With stiff competition from local rivals, Spark TV dissolved that they have to beef up after feeing the heat from BBS TV, Baba TV as they compete directly with NTV and NBS when it comes to entertainment.

DJ Shiru has been one of the highest paid DJs at vision Group but Spark TV’s offer was too huge to turn down.

Shiru has been in the deejaying game for a longtime. He started his career at the age of 17 learning from his brother Dj Rota.

You cannot mention two finest Djs in Uganda and DJ Shiru’s name doesn’t come up.
