Ashburg Katto Arrested For Coordinating Hacking

NRM recruit and blogger, Ashiraf Ndagimana Gatto aka Ashburg Katto aka Big Fish is still under police custody for coordinating hacking into social media accounts.

Ashburg was among the first Ugandans that started blogging and through years, he mastered the art of hacking into other people’s accounts for a living.

His last nail in the coffin came after he hacked ‘The Investigator’ social media accounts and also attempted to bring down their website.

According to the Investigator CEO, Stanley Ndawula, they became a target after they started publishing stories to expose tycoon, Sudhir Ruparelia.

The Investigator has been so vocal, publishing stories on almost daily basis exposing Sudhir’s dealings.

After the arrest, Ndawula says that Ashburg recorded a statement at Jinja Police Station pinning the tycoon for paying him to hack into The Investigator and this will be used by prosecutors to bring Big Fish to justice.

It should be noted that Ashburg was one of founders of People Power movement together with Bobi Wine but later crossed to NRM in May 2020 after events promoter, Balaam Barugahara took him to president Museveni.

The president gave him cows. Recently, he received a Toyota Premio from a group led by Balaam named ‘Friends of Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’ and a BMW X5 he claims Natasha Museveni gifted him.
