Bebe Cool Brands Chameleone General After Quitting NUP

Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool has branded Jose Chameleone ‘General’ after the Leone Island Entertainment boss quit Bobi Wine led – National Unity Platform (NUP).

On Sunday, Jose Chameleone told president Museveni’s brother, Michael Nuwagira alias Toyota that he has never left NRM after being gifted 2020 Land Rover Range Rover SVAutobiography LWB, registration number, UBJ 415D, valued at $209,500 (equivalent to Shs.730M).

In 2016, Jose Chameleone and Bebe Cool led a group of artistes and recorded president Museveni’s campaign song, ‘Tubonga Nawe’, pocketing millions in the process.

Towards the recent concluded general elections, Chameleone quit NRM and joined Democratic Party (DP) with an aim of contesting for the Kampala Lord Mayor seat. He later left DP with other members and joined NUP.

When time for selecting flag bearers came, NUP snubbed Jose Chameleone and picked Latif Ssebagala Ssengendo.

Lafif later pulled out of the race but NUP handed the flag to Nabilah Nagayi Ssempala who had quit FDC and snubbed Chameleone again.

The ‘Bayuda’ hit maker contested as independent and lost the election to incumbent, Elias Lukwago.

While annoucing his return to NRM, Chameleone said NUP betrayed him and he decided to return to where he is loved.

Yesterday, he paid a visit to Bebe Cool at his home in Kiwatule, took pictures and bragged that they are the God Fathers of the creative industy.
