Recently, Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool came under scrutiny after he claimed that he is richer than Tanzanian crooner, Diamond Platnumz.
Bebe Cool’s outburst came after NBS TV ‘After 5’ co-host, Douglas Lwanga asked him as to why every time they speak about East African music, they talk about Diamond Platnumz.
The Gagamel Phamily Entertainment CEO, responded and told Douglas that this is a wrong perception, arguing that Diamond Platnumz buys views on YouTube and social media.
He claimed that Diamond has never performed at big concerts like he has stepped on. He added that Diamond is not richer than him.
Bebe went further and said that Diamond Platnumz’ mansion cant’ be compared to his kitchen.
We believe Bebe Cool’s words were meant to promote his new song ‘Gyenvudde’ and give him talk-ability since he has been too silent.
As we speak, Bebe Cool resides in houses that he had built to rent out. His mansion in Ntinda – Kiwatule is still under construction.
During Chameleone’s visit, Bebe claimed he had already splashed 1.5m on it and needs an extra $1m to complete it.
From the video he shared, he still has a lot of job to do as his mansion is built in a swamp with lots of water flowing underneath.

Diamond Platnumz’ mansion is located at Mbezi beach, one of the richest areas in Dar es Salaam at the coast of Indian Ocean.
