Bebe Cool real name Moses Ssali has paraded armored car, Toyota Land Cruiser V8, becoming the second Ugandan artist to own the bullet proof car.
In February 2022, Bobi Wine acquired an armored Toyota Land Cruiser V8, Registration No. UBJ 667F which he claims was donated to him by his supporters.
However, In April 2022, URA impounded Bobi Wine’s car arguing it was under valued. URA said the vehicle was declared to customs as an ordinary vehicle and not an armored one, and therefore, less taxes were paid for it and consequently there is need for another inspection.
After two months evaluating the car, President Museveni directed URA to release and hand back the car to Bobi Wine.
Since then, Bobi Wine remained as the only artist in Uganda to ever own an armored car.
However, last month words started making rounds that Bobi Wine’s nemesis, Bebe Cool also bought an armored car. The rumour was started by YouTuber and Dembe FM presenter, Jenkins Mukasa.
Yesterday, Bebe Cool ended the speculation and showed of the armored car ‘Level 1’parked outside his home in Kiwatule on Instastories.
