Blackskin Arrested, Detained Over Bebe Cool

Renowned songwriter and singer, Frederick Ssenyonga aka Blackskin was on Saturday arrested and detained at Jinja Road Police Post for tarnishing Bebe Cool’s name.

When Bebe Cool released his new song ‘Gyenvudde’, Blackskin went public and revealed that Bebe Cool did not pay him for writing the song.

The songwriter went ahead, hit studio and recorded his own version of the song which he released a few weeks later.

Through his Facebook page, Blackskin threatened to send two faded artistes back into retirement because they do not want to pay creators.

Because of controversy, Blackskin’s ‘Gyenvudde’ song has been getting lots of airplay which did not go well with Bebe Cool. He felt his song was being overshadowed.

At the beginning of last week, word started making rounds that Bebe’s lawyers had served Blackskin for tarnishing his name.

On Saturday, he was arrested and detained at Jinja road Police Post. This was confirmed by his close buddy producer, Eno Beats.
