Bobi Wine Bitter, Accuses Police Of Knocking Dead People Power Iron Lady, Ritah Nabukenya

People Power supremo, Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine is bitter and has accused Police of impunity after a patrol car knocked dead, Rita Nabukenya, a renown People Power supporter.

Bobi Wine says the police patrol car ran after Nabukenya who was riding on Boda Boda wearing a red beret before knocking her dead in Nakawa.

Nabukenya was heading to Buganda Road Court to show solidarity to Bobi Wine and his co-accused who were appearing on case of illegal protests relating to mobile money tax and social media tax .

The Kyadondo East legislator took to his Facebook page poured out his bitterness.

“A very sad day! Yet again, police has murdered one of our solid leaders of the People Power Movement. Police saw Rita Nabukenya wearing People Power colours on a boda boda, run after her with a police patrol truck and knocked her dead. Museveni’s murderous regime must come to and end. We must do everything in our might to ensure that Rita and other fallen comrades like her, get justice”, Bobi posted on Facebook.

Fire base vice president and Bobi Wine’s singing partner, Ali Bukenya popolarly known as Nubian Lee also took to Facebook to condemn police brutality and impunity.

People Power spokesperson, Joel Ssenyonyi says they are currently at Mulago Hospital mortuary, with police officers tossing them around.

We are yet to receive official communication from Uganda Police about the allegation.
