Bobi Wine Exposes SMACK HM For Targeting, Segregating His Son, Solomon In School’s General Meeting, Demands Apology | VIDEO
March 19, 2022It was drama today at St Mary’s College Kisubi (SMACK) after Bobi Wine decided to expose headmaster, Brother Deodati Aliganyira for segregating and targeting his son, Solomon Sekayi Kampala Nyanzi Kyagulanyi.
This follows news that went viral that Solomon was suspended after the school warden found marijuana in his suitcase and under his bed.
Bobi Wine told parents in the school’s general meeting that the headmaster has been making his son’s life hell and demanded answers as to why he is segregating him.
When he was invited to SMACK over son’s suspension, Bobi Wine, his wife, Barbara Itungo, school’s lawyer, Headmaster and deputy sat in the meeting.
Solomon denied any knowedge about the drugs and insisted he was being set up. He said the domitory has cameras all over and challenged the school to produce footage.
The headmaster however, failed to produce footage and admitted that camera wires were cut a day before the search.
They agreed on a middle ground that Solomon be suspended since they had sent other students home over the same issue. Him staying would set a double standard.
They agreed that issues discussed stay in the office but only to be shocked by media houses publishing news with headline “Bobi Wine’s son, Solomom suspended from SMACK over drugs”.
According to Bobi Wine, this was disturbing, depressing and it damaged the future of his son, his personality and his family.
He was shocked that despite the school’s failure to provide evidence, the headmaster went ahead and gave out the interview.
The NUP president says he would have gone to the media too but, he felt the moral way was to present the issue in the school’s general meeting.
Bobi also raised the issue of the headmaster segregating his son, Solomon. He says the headmaster constantly taunts his son on assembly, chapel and Solomon feels psychologically tortured.
The singer turned politician shocked parents by revealing that the headmaster denied his son a chance to stand for elective positions in the school.
When Bobi Wine asked him about the issue, the headmaster told him that, for a student to be a leader, must be an A-class student not an average student like Solomon.
Secondary, that popular students are not allowed to stand because of unfair advantage.
A ranting Bobi Wine asked the headmaster that if a school like SMACK cannot investigate a grave issue like weed, how can they be sure that they will be able to handle something more serious like fire?.
He also questioned the headmaster that if a parent can discuss an issue in his office and it gets out, where are they supposed to go?
The National Unity Platform (NUP)/People Power principle demanded answers and asked SMACK headmaster, Brother Deodati Aliganyira to apologise.
