Bright Stars FC Re-Sign Defender Bernard Muwanga

Mwererwe-based Uganda Premier League side, Bright Stars have re-signed defender Bernard Muwanga.

In July 2019, Muwanga joined Stanbic Uganda Cup reigning champions Proline on loan from KCCA FC where he struggled for playing time.

Before joining KCCA FC and Proline, he was captain at Bright Stars Football Club and SC Villa.

He also captained Uganda Cranes at the 2018 CHAN tournament in Morocco.

Bright Stars which is now struggling to beat relegation, have signed winger Muwadda Mawejje from Wakiso Giants.

Bright Stars are currently 13th on the Uganda Premier League table with 19 points accumulated in 19 games. They next travel to Wakiso Giants on 1st February, 2020.

Muwanga returns to the club he helped in promotion to the Super League in 2013.
