Daddy Andre Reveals Why He Refused To Go For HIV Test With Angella Katatumba

In April 2020, singer, Angella Katatumba went public and revealed it was over between her and Daddy Andre claiming that the multi talented producer, singer and songwriter refused to take HIV test.

In an interview, Angella disclosed that she started dating Andre in 2019 when she had gone to record a song at his studios. She said everything happened so fast and found herself in Andre’s arms.

Since parting ways, Andre has never commented on the HIV test issue but finally, he opened up. He said the only reason why he didn’t go was simply because Angella was just a friend and they weren’t in love.

Andre said he hesitated to go for an HIV test when she asked him to because he wasn’t ready to be with her.

Me and Angella have never been in love. We were and are just great buddies who decided to date but that doesn’t mean we were in love. That’s why she came into the press and said I refused to go for an HIV test. That means I wasn’t ready to be with her

Months after separation, Daddy Andre visited Nina Roz’ relatives in Kireka and started living together as husband and wife. Unfortunately, they broke up in April this year.

The ‘Sikikukweka’ singer admitted that he loved Nina Roz and still does but wants their relationship off the media if they are to re-unite.

He also addressed allegations about Nina regarding the use of drugs, abortion and her return to Black Market Records.

Nina doesn’t use drugs as alleged. She is back at Black Market Records and doing fine. For the abortion rumors we never did, she had just put on some weight and we were not ready to have a child

Andre added.
