Diamond Platnumz’ Mum, Sanura Kassim Comments on Pregnancy Rumours

For a while now, rumours have been swirling that Sanura Kassim aka Mama Dangote, the mother to Bongo superstar Diamond Platnumz is pregnant.

After a prolonged silence, she has finally addressed rumours that Diamond will soon have a younger sibling. Speaking to Global Publishers, Sanura pointed out that getting pregnant at her age could be fatal.

“Look at me, do you see the pregnancy? What would I be looking for by getting pregnant at my age? It is my time to enjoy life like a youth. Why would I start breastfeeding again? Wouldn’t it be fatal if I got pregnant at my age?” she posed.

Sanura further affirmed that she has no plans of getting pregnant for her husband, Maisara Shamte.

The grandmother, who is over 50 years old, also opened up on her secret to youthfulness. According to Sanura, her lifestyle plays a crucial role in ageing gracefully.

“I do not have any negative thoughts. I eat well and get enough sleep. I honestly do not have any problems, so why would I grow old?” she posed.

She also addressed rumours that she has the last say in her son’s decision-making.

“Who else shall Diamond listen to if not me? Diamond continually received blessings because he listens to me,” Sanura said.

Sanura further dispelled assumptions that she is full of her son’s success.

“Surely, which mother would not be proud to have a son like Diamond? The important thing is I continually pray for God to give him wisdom. That is my daily prayer,” she stated.

Tales of Sanura’s pregnancy started when she posted photos with a protruding belly.

However, Sanura had previously revealed that she has no plans of getting pregnant for Shamte. She confessed while responding to an Instagram follower who questioned why she was not getting pregnant for her hubby.

Soon after their wedding, Sanura and Shamte faced cyberbullying as some social media users wondered whether he had an ulterior motive in marrying her, given Diamond’s success. After their nuptial vow, netizens claimed he lived under Sanura’s roof as he did not have a home of his own. In response, Shamte wondered why people would be concerned by why he lives with his lawfully wedded wife.
