Tanzania Bongo Flava artists, Zuhura Othman Soud aka Zuchu and Nasibu Abdul Juma Issack aka Diamond Platnumz have finally confirmed they are in romantic relationship following a year playing hide and seek.
Diamond Platnumz’ record label, WCB Wasafi signed Zuchu in April 2020.
In December 2021, Tanzanian blogger, Mange Kimambi broke the news that Diamond and Zuchu were dating and the pair had a romantic dinner on Christmas.
However, the pair denied the rumour and insisted their relationship was purely musical.
In March this year, word made rounds that Diamond secretly paid bride price to Zuchu’s family but her elder brother, Suma trashed the rumour.
Word gathered pace in April when a photo of Zuchu and Diamond Platnumz locking lips leaked online.
Yesterday, the pair shared a video on TikTok with clips of themselves having good time.
It should be noted that Zuchu gifted Diamond an expensive necklace on his birthday.
We can’t tell how they will handle their relationship with both being artists.
Recently, Diamond said he is now ready to settle and the way he is happy with Zuchu, don’t be shocked if they get married.
Zuchu is the daughter of Tanzanian legendary Taarab musician, Khadija Kopa, who inspired her to pursue a career in music, along with her late brother Omar Kopa. Zuchu began singing at a young age, considering that she hails from a musical family.
