DJ Alex Ndawula Finally Laid To Rest, Artists Shun Burial, Mass Service
July 10, 2022Former Capital FM presenter, Alexander Michael Felix Mukonzi Ndawula aka DJ Alex Ndawula was finally laid to rest at his ancestral home in Kyamaganda Village, Lwengo District today afternoon.
DJ Alex Ndawula aka Muchanchos died on June 6 at the age of 59 in Nsambya Hospital where he had been admitted with a sickness.
Ndawula’s body was kept over a month in the mortuary as they waited some of his family members from the US. Others claim the family had to settle land matters and that’s what delayed his burial.
On Friday July 8, there was public viewing and memorial service hosted by Capital FM at their Gardens at Plot 1A Kisementi.
On Saturday July 9, Funeral service at Rubaga Cathedral. Finally he was laid to rest today at 2pm.
Shockingly, no artist attended his mass service at Capital FM, Rubaga Cathedral and final send off. Capital FM presenter, Lucky Mbabazi confirmed the shocking news.

It should be rembered that DJ Alex Ndawula prmoted many Ugandan artists by playing their songs on ‘Dance Force’. His ‘We break the CD or Keep it’ segment promoted a lot of songs.
