Celebrated TV host and NBS ‘After 5’ co-host, Douglas Lwanga is beaming with joy after bagging his first ever career international award.

This morning, the calm presenter received Best African Entertainment Host award in the Africa Entertainment Awards USA (AEAUSA)2020.

Excited Lwanga Tweeted the exciting news and thanked his followers for voting for him.

Douglas Lwanga.

Lwanga is regarded as the best TV presenter in Uganda. His calm style has won him the hearts of many Ugandans who have been with him since his television career.

Lwanga started his career at Record TV presenting ‘Katogo’ and later crossed to NTV where he successful co-hosted NTV ‘The Beat’.

In March 2018, he made a shock move and joined NBS TV to co-host ‘After 5’ show with MC Kats, DJ Roja and DVJ Mercy Pro. They have now been joined by socialite, Sheilah Gashumba.

Douglas Lwanga also runs the popular event, the Purple Party.
