Enkuuka Y’Omwaka Organiser, Abtex Cursing As ‘People Power’ Supporter, Yvonne Chaka Chaka Deported Back To S. Africa

Events promoter, Musinguzi Abby a.k.a Abtex is cursing after legendary South African singer, Yvonne Chaka Chaka has been deported by immigration back to South Africa!
According to Uganda Police spokesperson, Fred Enanga, Chaka Chaka who jetted in the country yesterday afternoon was booked to perform at CBS FM’s Enkuuka Yo’mwaka show tonight but she was deported on grounds that she came on tourist visa yet music promoters are advertising her to perform at Enkuuka Yo’mwaka tonight without work permit.
“The foreign musician had initially been granted an ordinary visa which was cancelled by immigration officials after it was realized she had come as a performing artist in one of the New Year’s events,” Enanga said in a statement on Monday afternoon.
Chaka Chaka is a known supporter of People Power and a friend to Bobi Wine and inside sources say this could have been the reason as to why the authorities deported her.
Yvonne Chaka Chaka is popularly known for his hit songs such as; I’m burning up, Thank You Mr Dj, I Cry for freedom, Umqombothi and many more.
