Omar Ssali, the former hubby to NTV Akawungeezi and Mwasuze Mutya presenter, Fardiah Nakazibwe is grassing in the UAE and needs serious prayers.
Omar Ssali came to limelight in 2016 after Faridah dumped NRM national vice-chairperson, Al-hajji Moses Kigongo and fell in love with him.
According to Faridah, Ssali who was staying in UAE, got her number and started WhatsApping her. Later, he jetted in Uganda, went to straight to NTV and asked her out.
The pair started dating and took the relationship to another level.
In October 2016, Omar Ssali wedded Faridah Nakazibwe in a private ceremony that took place in Duabi. Few relatives and friends attended.
Unfortunately the marriage collapsed in 2019 after Faridah found out that Omar Ssali was a lier and a conman according to her nemesis, Justine Nameere.
It is alleged that Ssali used to blackmail Faridah Nakazibwe. After the NTV journalist decided to blacklist him in her life, Ssali went off the scene and disappeared in the UAE.
Four year no see, finally one netizen bumped him in Dubai. Donning a cap covering half face, Ssali looked a bit stressed as he waited on a seat.
We can say, his situation is not good. At first he first lied that he was a doctor but later netizens discovered that he was cargo handler at the airport.
Since Covid-19 lock down, the situation in Dubai became so tight. Most Ugandans lost their jobs and many sleep on the streets while some are rotting in detention centers.
Other countries started repatriating their citizens but the Ugandan government has been slow.
Well wishers are now buying tickets for the stranded Ugandans to return home. Yesterday, some Government officials faced hard time after unruly Ugandans booed and abused them after they came to assess the situation in bid to help them return home.
