Veteran journalist and former Radio West manager, Tiguragara Matojo Salongo is dead.
Tiguragara who collapsed on Friday and was rushed to Mulago Hospital is said to have succumbed to Covid-19.
Tiguragara Matojo Salongo became Radio West 100.2 FM’s first manager when it launched in 1999.
On top of managing the station, Tiguragara used to present a political program ‘Manya Ebirikufa omu Ihanga Ryawe’ which made westerners glued to Radio West.
After leaving Radio West, president Museveni appointed Tiguragara as Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Lyantonde district.
