Henry Tigan Ventures Into Side Hustle To Survive
October 17, 2021Singer, Henry Tony Kirumaganyi aka Henry Tigan has ventured into welding to survive after president Museveni banned concerts which were his sole source of income.
In 2007, Henry Tigan under the management of Suudiman Lukwago, recorded a mega songs with Trinidad reggae singer, Marlon Asher of the Ganja Farmer fame titled ‘World of Scandals’ and ‘My Country’.
He became a big star but later started declining after he opted to part ways with Suudiman.
In bid to revive his career, Tigan joined Bobi Wine’s led Fire Base Crew but his move did not yield him results.
He later teamed up with Chagga Yaga and formed a band and that’s when president Museveni banned concerts.
The ‘Abogezi’ hitmaker seems to have saved some little start up capital and he used it to start up his own metal works and fabrication workshop, Lukuli metal workshop, located in Makindye.
The veteran singer is active on social media marketing beautiful doors and windows made from his very own Lukuli metal workshop.
Henry Tigan is not the first artiste to venture into side hustle since president Museveni banned concerts due to Covid-19; Willy Mukabya started farming business, Gift Ov Kaddo is into cakes, Diamond Oscar in rabbit farming among others.
