Jose Chameleone Confirms Ggwanga Mujje Concert Date, Venue
August 14, 2022Legendary Jose Chameleone has announced date for his postponed ‘Ggwanga Mujje’ concert after Covid-19 lockdown frustrated his plans.
Jose Chameleone who has not held a concert in over three years, was supposed to hold Ggwanga Mujje concert in May 2020 but Covid-19 happened.
‘Bayuda’ singer plotted to hold it this year but after performing at Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s birthday party at Cricket Oval – Lugogo, he faced backlash from fans who threatened to boycott his concert.
He faced it rough when he went to Europe and South Africa to perform.
In an interview, Chameleone admitted that pressure was too much and revealed he will hold the concert after the situation stabilises.
After staging a sold out concert dubbed ‘Legends Nyota Kuubwa at Cubana – Munyonyo on August 5, Chamili felt the love.
Today morning, Chameleone revealed that his concert will be held on 10th February 2023 at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
Since losing the Kampala Mayoral election to incumbent, Erias Lukwago, Chameleone has been at loggerheads with NUP/People Power diehards.
They accused him of disrespecting their principal, Bobi Wine, who ‘Mama Mia’ singer rebuked for snubbing him in favour of Latif Ssebagala and later, Nabilah Nagayi Ssempala.
