Kazoora Threatens Legal Action, Demands His Equipment From Magic 100 FM, Magic 1 HD TV Uses

Veteran journalist Junior Kazoora has threatened to drag Uganda Broadcast Corporation (UBC) to court for refusing to give him his equipment that Magic 100 FM and Magic 1 HD TV uses.
Kazoora says in 2018 he signed a contract with UBC to set up a youth radio staton and a Television.
He came up with the concept and set up Magic 100 FM investing 76m and a Television – New Magic which later rebranded into Magic 1 HD splashing 170m on it.
He designed logos and did branding pushing Magic 100 FM and Magic 1 HD into No.1 Youth Station.
Later he was forced out and instructed to take only furniture leaving behind his equipment.
Kazoora says he has been trying reach out to UBC bosses, Maurice Mugisha and Agaba in vain. They don’t pick his calls.
While seated on the UBC steps recording a video, Kazoora revealed that all he wants is his equipment, nothing else.
He cautioned the UBC bosses that if they don’t respond, he will instruct his lawyers to take action.
Recently, Junior Kazoora started Smari Institute – a school that teaches journalism, branding and advertising. He wants the equipment to equip his institute.

Junior Kazoora
Kazoora rose to fame while presenting Jam Agenda on WBS TV. He worked with other companies; Airtel, MTN, Pepsi among others.
He also invested in defunct bar; Buddies that was situated in Ntinda.
Junior Kazoora currently presents ‘Late Nites’ on NBS TV.
Kazoora is a nephew to the NRA bush hero, Retired Major, John Basheija Kazoora. He was born and raised in Rutooma, Kashaari – Mbarara district.
