Kyaggwe ssaza team leaders get recognition from Fortebet real Stars sports monthly awards

With days ramaining for Kyaggwe ssaza team to play in its first ever Masaza cup final on 2 November 2024 against Buddu at Mandela National Stadium Namboole, the vibe has been hypped by 4 life time achievement awards to the leaders of the team in preparations for the big day ahead.

Making it to the first ever  Masaza cup final it has not been seen as normal grade by Real Stars Sports agency but a great dedication of the administrave wing.

It gave enough basement to the agency along with partners Fortebet and Jude colour Solutions to recognized the personnells behind this East Buganda county achievement.

On this special occassion, 4 life time achievement accolades were given out for the first time in the history of the awards.

The accolade went to head coach David Steven Mutono Katono as the historical coach who guided Kyaggwe to first ever final and also being the last Coach to post previous best Kyaggwe’s performance in 2016 where they lost to Gomba in Semifinals.

At the event held at Lazo Restaurant in Kololo on 29 October 2024, while receiving the accolade head Coach Motono stood optmistic ahead of the final on 2 November 2024.

“It is a pleassure to have been recognized by the award organizers, appreciating me is a glory from the almaighty I can’t do it on my own,

It has been a delibarate effort to work for the trophy from day one and I assure you we are bringing it to Kyaggwe”

The others were  Chief Executive officer Julius Greg Kikomeko, team chairperson Honorable Stephen Sserubula Kinaalwa and county Chief Vincent Matovu Bintubizibu.

Since the awards are organized to appreciate stunning performer in different sports discipline on a monthly basis, the month of October have had 3 disciplines.

In Badminton,the Sensation star of the 7th City Tyres East Africa Badminton Challenge Augustus Owinyi received his first accolade from none Association entity.

Owinyi who won three Gold medals at the Badminton Challenge in October when he scooped Men’s Single, Doubles and Guiding Uganda to Nations gold.

The 24 years Old student at Ndejje University took it by beating Uganda’s female top seed Fadhila Shimika Rafi and seed 4 Tracy Naluwooza to receive the accolade in a joyful mode.

In Football Allan Okello was announced winner of the accolade beating Josephine Nambuya of Kawempe Mislems and Seiri Arigumaho of Brightstars.

The Vipers SC Man was ranked higher for his goal contribution on national team and at club.

The third descipline on the agenda was Motorsport where Mike Mukula Junior bettered Omar Nasser and Ronald Ssebuguzi.

As a surprising performer Mukula finished second  at ARC championship in Rwanda as he put himself in pole position to win the ARC 2 category.
