Lady Mariam AKA Tindatine Starts Music Band

Western Uganda music export, Lady Mariam commonly known as Tindatine has started a music band to supplement her income.
Lady Mariam rose to fame in 2006 when she released a viral song ‘Tindatine’. She made money and moved places but later struggled to release good music later.
Trying to make the ends meet, Lady Mariam moved to South Sudan but later returned and started a bar in Kireka.
With Covid-19 bars closure, Lady Mariam found herself stranded. Preparing for life after Covid-19, Tindatine has started a music band and named it ‘Tindex’ derived from her name Tindatine.
The singer says she cannot wait for the President to open up bars and events so that she can bounce back on stage.
