Lt. Gen Henry Tumukunde Confirms His Intentions To Run Against Museveni in 2021 Presidential Elections

Former security minister, Lt. Gen Henry Tumukunde has notified Electoral Commission of his intentions to carry out consultation meetings ahead of 2021 general elections.
Tumukunde’s move means he intends to join the presidential race.
So far the people who have showed interest in running for 2021 seat are; the incumbent, Yoweri kaguta Museveni and Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.
Tumukunde becomes the third army person after Rtd Col Dr Besigye and the late Gen Benon Biraro to run against their commander in chief.
