Meet Achai Wiir, The South Sudanese Lady Tycoon Who Gifted Jose Chameleone Toyota Land Cruiser V8

The name Achai Wiir popped on the Ugandan social scene when legendary Jose Chameleone found himself in big trouble with Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) over unpaid tax for Toyota Land Cruiser V8 tax.

In April, URA enforcement officers intercepted Chameleone on his way to BBS TV to perform and requested for the clearance papers of the Toyota Land Cruiser V8 he was cruising.

Chameleone said he had left the papers at home. The next day, the enforcement officers stormed his home in Seguku and impounded the car. Luckily enough, the ‘Balaiwa’ singer managed to escape.

It was from this saga that events promoter, Balaam Barugahara revealed that the car Re. No. SSD 499B was gifted to Jose Chameleone by the South Sudanese tycoon, Achai Wiir when he composed a song ‘Achai Wiir’ and sang on her lavish birthday.

Chameleone sneaked the car into the country and was driving it without number plates.

Who is Achai Wiir?

Achai Wiir is a South Sudanese businesswoman aged 28 years.

Born in 1992, Achai Wiir runs a franchise of businesses in South Sudan, Uganda, Kenya, South Africa and Democratic Republic of Congo.

According to reports she is worth $161m (Approximately Shs.590bn).
