Mukamanayamba Manufacuring Plant Shut Down

Uganda Bureau of Standards (UNBS) has suspended Mukamanayamba Gulu branch operations after it was found manufacturing drinks under unhygienic conditions.
A statement released by UNBS has it clear that Gulu branch was closed on Wednesday, November 3,2020 and in an operation where products manufactured in Gulu were also found labelled as ‘manufactured in Kabwohe’.
“Mukamanayamba Gulu branch found manufacturing drinks under unhygienic conditions, Products manufactured in Gulu found labelled as ‘manufactured in Kabwohe’. Gulu facility has no certification permit and products manufactured in Gulu are illegally bearing the Qmark.
Operations suspended”, UNBS statement reads.
Mukamanayamba is one of the energy drinks consumed by people in different parts of Uganda.
