Al Hajji Nasser Ssebagala Seeya Made A Will To Be Buried After 3 Days, Burial Date Confirmed | AUDIO

The former Kampala Mayor, Nasser Ntege Sebaggala aka Seeya, will be laid to rest on Sunday 4th October at the family’s ancestral home in Kisaasi, the family announced yesterday.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, the deceased’s brother, Muhammad Sebaggala, said the decision was reached to allow his children in the diaspora to make it for their father’s burial.
Sebaggala, also known as Seeya, breathed his last at the age of 72 on Saturday at the International Hospital Kampala.

“After intensive consultations and discussions with the family, we have resolved that Hajji Ssebagala will be laid to rest on Sunday, October 4th here at Kisaasi at 2 pm. This has been caused by the fact that Hajji Sebaggala has got about 14 children who are in the diaspora, in different countries,”he said.
Some Muslim clerics have argued that the delay to bury Sebaggala contradicts with the teachings of Islam which call for immediate burial.
But his family said they were following the deceased’s wishes.
It should be noted that Ssebagala while appearing on CBS FM, he confirmed that he made a will to be buried after three days to enable his children and relatives burry him.
He also revealed that he bought himself clothes to be buried in.
