NBS TV Finally Relocates From Kamwokya As Next Media Services Plot To Dethrone NTV

Starting Monday, August 24th, Next Media Services will have a new address after relocating from Media Plaza, Kamwokya to Plot 13, Summit View Road, Naguru – the building which once housed WBS TV, before it closed shop.
Over the years, Next Media Services – a parent company of several media houses; NBS Television, Sanyuka TV, Salaam TV, Nxt Radio and Nile Post has been expanding and in bid to accommodate all its staff, they had to look for a bigger place.

This time around they landed on the former WBS TV home at Naguru Hill and have already occupied the building.
Canary Mugume, one of NBS TV reporters broke the news on his Twitter handle revealing that starting tomorrow, his new address will be Plot 13, Summit View Road, Naguru!

Next Media services CEO, Kin Kariisa entered into a lease arrangement with Sir Gordon Wavamuno after he retained ownership of the property that had been taken over by sports broadcaster, Kwese TV during WBS liquidation.
Kwese was last year put on sale after its parent company in Zimbabwe was put under administration due to failure to service debt obligations.
Renovations and expansion of the property to house all Next Media Services brands are already done, waiting for occupancy.
When Kin Kariisa took over as the CEO, he came with a dream of making Next Media services the biggest media house in Uganda and his ambition has forced him to raid rival stations of its employees.
Kariisa raided NTV of Hatma Nalugwa Sekaaya, Douglas Lwanga, Raymond Mujuni, MC Kats, Solomon Sserwanjja, Rukh-Shana Namuyimbwa, Wisdom Kiyonga, Dean Lubowa Saava, Sheila Mugisha, Anita Fabiola, Charles Odongtho.
He also signed Samson Kasumba from Urban TV, Mr Zambali Brasio Mukasa from BBS TV and many more.
