Troubled singer, Nina Kankunda aka Nina Roz has accepted Jesus Christ as her saviour and got batized today afternoon.
Nina who was rumoured to have fled the country to Tanzania over stress, got baptized by international minister and founder of the Kampala Children’s Centre and Destiny Africa Children’s Choir, Bishop Arnold Muwonge.
After baptism, Nina confirmed the development by sharing photos and videos shared on her social media platforms.
Victory belongs to GOD, I’m humbled and grateful ALMIGHTY. I’m all yours GOD just use me in all ways Father. I feel blessed to be alive and baptised today 5/09/21 by my spiritual Father Arnold Muwonge. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Nina Roz will never forget 2021. It has been a hard year for her. It has pushed her to the wall.
In October last year, Daddy Andre accompanied by his relatives and friends, visited Nina Roz’ relatives in a scientific ‘Kukyala’ ceremony that took place in Kireka.
This was after 6 months Angella Katatumba had dumped Andre following allegations of eating female artistes forcefully in his ‘Leero tompona’ Studios.
In April this year, word started making rounds that Nina and Daddy Andre were no more. The pair tried to defuse the rumour by conducting a joint interview at their rental.
Word has it that Nina was not happy with ‘Kafumisi’ hubby who by then was spending lots of time with curvaceous upcoming singer, Shakira Shakiraa.
In May, an audio leaked with Daddy Andre accusing Nina of lying to him about quitting drugs. Andre said Nina had not come for a relationship but calculated a move like Angella Katatumba did to revive her fading career.
Tired of pretending, in July Nina Declared herself single and her life took an ugly twist.
Because she did not want to cross paths with Andre who was signed under the same record label, Black Market Records, Nina quit but forgot she had signed a contract with Black Market Records.
In the process, she lost her YouTube channel which was her sole source of income in this trying time of Covid-19.
She became so depressed and contemplated leaving Uganda.
