Pallaso real name, Pius Mayanja is beaming with joy after re-uniting with his children and American bae after 8-years apart.
Pallaso, who used to stay in the US, left in 2014 and relocated to Uganda following his release from jail.
After recording a collaboration ‘Amaaso’ featuring Radio & Weasel in 2013, The King of East realized he could make money from music.
Upon jetting in Uganda in 2014, he concentrated on music career and did two hit collaborations; Mundongo and Get Down Low with Sheebah. The collabos helped him launch his career and went solo.
With songs such as; Malamu, Mpa Love, Nalonda Nemala, Ekiro Munzikiza among many others, In March 2022, Pallaso announced a 2-day concert that was slated to take place on on July 1st and 2nd at Cricket Oval – Lugogo.
Unfortunately, he postponed the concert in June 2022 after suffering knee injury at a concert.
I’m here to say I am so sorry. My concert won’t happening on July 1st and July 2nd as we had earlier on planned this year because of the knee injury that I sustained earlier this year that I’m still recovering from.
My doctors say I still need more time and I also think I do because I wanna give you the best of me both physically and mentally. I wanna be at my best and I feel like I’m not there yet.
I wanna let you know that I have absolutely done everything that I can to speed up this process, from physiotherapy to pretty much everything I could do but I’ve been challenged.
I wanna let you know that my knee is getting better and I promise you, my fans, we are gonna reschedule this and it’s gonna happen – but not on July 1st and July. I apologise to those that have been anxiously waiting for the dates. I will let you know the new dates, please bear with me.

A year after postponing, Pallaso announce ‘Love Fest Concert’ that will take place on June 9, 2023 at Cricket Oval – Lugogo.
As part of the preparations, The ‘Malamu’ singer wanted his family around him, and after a lengthy discussion with Zungu baby mama, she accepted to fly the children from the US to Uganda.
Yesterday, Pallaso’s Zungu bae and children jetted in and were welcomed by the King of East and his mum, Proscovia Mayanja. This was the first time Pallaso met his children following 8-years apart.
April has been a good month for Pallaso, The Kabaka Ronald Muwenda II recognized and invited him to perform at his 68th birthday celebrations. Kabaka revealed that he jogs while listening to Pallaso’s song.
