NTV Uganda journalists, Raymond ‘Qatahar’ Mujuni and Rita Kanya are set to walk down the aisle this year.
In April this year, Mujuni took a knee and asked Kanya to be his wife; and of course, she said YES!
In May, Rita Kanya introduced Mujuni to her parents in a colorful traditional ‘Kukyala’ ceremony known as ‘Gufuta Irembo’.
Since the introduction ceremony, the pair have been living as husband and wife and want to make their relationship official with a wedding.
An insider intimated to us that the lovely couple have already launched wedding meetings in bid to wed before this year ends.
This year, journalists have decided to settle down and start families; In April, NBS TV’s Canary Mugume proposed to long term girlfriend, Sasha Ferguson. This was followed by an introduction ceremony.
Last weekend, NTV journalist, John Cliff Wamala took to Ngarama, Isingiro in Western Uganda to attend his introduction (kuhingira) to the family of long term girlfriend, Saphira Nahabwe Rweizire.
All we can say journalists are tired of eating goodies on credit. Its time parents to reap from their daughters.
