Sacked Fatboy Starts Own Radio Station, Teams Up With Crystal Newman To Dethrone Sanyu FM
August 13, 2020Two months after being sacked on Sanyu FM, James Onen aka Fatboy is back on air and this time around on his own radio station.
Fatboy and other employees were laid off from Sanyu FM for allegedly refusing to take a pay cut after the station was hit had by Coronavirus pandemic financially.
With over 20-years in radio business, Fatboy will not worry no more about being sacked. He has started an online radio station called ‘Recklessradio.ug’.

Through social media platforms, Fatboy announced his return to radio where he will be c0-hosting ‘The Fatboy Show’ with Olive from 6 to 10am every Monday to friday.
Fellow Sanyu FM presenter, Crystal Newman will host ‘the Groove Crystal Show’ from 3 to 7pm, Monday to Friday.
Reckless Radio has other programs; ‘The Reckless Mix’, The Reckless Top 10, Monday to thursday, 7 to 8pm. Nightstream an Ultimate late night program, Monday to Thursday, 8 to 12am. The Cyclone Friday and Saturday nights.
Absolute 90s. Saturdays, 3pm to 6pm. Hip Hop extreme every Saturday evening from 6 to 8pm. Sunday Cool relax, 3 to 7pm.
