Sheilah Gashumba has finally revealed why she quit Naguru Summit-based NBS Television, two months after her untimely departure.
On February 20, 2023 Next Media Services, a company that runs NBS TV, confirmed that Sheilah Gashumba had left NBS After 5 – a program she was co-hosting with Douglas Lwanga, MC Kats, DJ Roja and DVJ Mercy Pro.
The Lil Stunner signed with NBS TV in November 2021 and joined NBS ‘After 5’ show.

On the same day, NBS TV also announced Sheila Salta’s exit, who was hosting ‘Katch Up’.
Word made rounds that NBS TV sacked the pair because of conflict of interest. Since Next Media Services own Nxt Radio, they felt Salta and Sheilah were going to confuse their fanbase.
Sheila Salta was already presenting Drive show from 3-7pm from Monday to Friday on NRG Radio 106.5 FM. Days after Sheilah Gashumba left NBS TV, she also signed a deal with NRG Radio to co-host a program, ‘Total Access UG’ every Friday, 7-10PM with DJ VX Faisal.
In a Snapchat post, Sheilah disclosed the reason as to why she left NBS TV after one of her fans, JVicky posted “I miss seeing yoh on TV Sheilah Sikyakulaba”.
The Lil Stunner acknowledged that she currently has so many jobs, and travels so often hence daily TV appearances would make it next to impossible to fulfill some of her commitments.
I’m extremely busy to be on tv daily darling but i will be back on tv soon but not on a daily show. I have so many jobs plus business and i travel a lot. things have to fit in my schedule.

At the beginning of February, Sheilah launched Gash Luxe at Clement Hill- that deals in Shopping lounge ( clothes, shoes, wigs, homeware), it also has a mini champagne area, content studio and a makeup studio.
Apart from hosting Theme Bar nights, Sheilah also wants to venture into deejaying after seeing her fellows; Zahara Totto aka DJ Zato, DJ Alisha, Lynda Ddane, DJ carol reap big from gigs.
In April 2022, She spent 16m on deejaying equipment minus taxes.
