Singer, Napoleon Of ‘More Money’ Hit Is Dead

Word coming in indicates that Jinja-Njeru based MC/ Raggamaffin, Asiimwe Innocent aka Napoleon of ‘More Money’ hit is dead.

Napoleon started his music journey way back in 1999 in Jinja. Due to his talent, he came to Kampala, met Steve Jean – who was by then the best producer in the country and crafted ‘More Money’.

Napoleon became a star residing in one of the famous Buganda Road flats where Steve had his base, being cruised in Celica rides.

However, due to his love for alcohol and unbranded cigarettes, the no nonsense Steve Jean kicked him out. His troubles started and had to relocate back to Jinja.

Two years back, a clip went viral showing Napoleon in a sorry state, married by booze and unbranded cigarettes – the biggest enemy to most Ugandan artists.

Well wishers rushed and took him to rehab but situation did not improve.

Now he is no more. May his Soul RIP.
