Political analyst and poet Stella Nyanzi has revealed a reason why she is happy that Bobi Wine Didn’t win the Oscar award.
She said the singer cum politician needs to now focus on the struggle and stop pausing for the red carpet all the time.
Bobi Wine recorded his documentary of the People’s President in 2021 during the general elections.
Being a president of an opposition political party he faced so many challenges, lost people that he knew.
He was bested multiple times but he kept it to himself not until the documentary was published for people to watch.
He was lucky enough that the documentary was nominated at the Oscars awards and it was the first Ugandan film to get to that level.

According to Stella Nyanzi, she is sad and happy at the same time that the singer cum politician didn’t win.
He said the singer is now free to focus on the struggle and do what Ugandans have been expecting him to do.
“Bambi, I am sad that Bobi Wine did NOT win the Oscar award last night. But I am also very happy because he can now hopefully return to focusing on Uganda’s liberation struggle. Ani aluleeta? Tewali!,” Stella Nyanzi said
