Singer Rema Namakula is still shocked after witnessing segregation at Turkey Airport enroute to London where she is supposed to perform.
Rema who had a show in Turkey over the weekend, was connecting to London escorted by her known handbag, Evelyn Namulondo.
While in transit, she claims Turkish were looking at them in awkward way to the extent a child cried.
In a video clip, Rema claims she was shocked to some people in this world who are still segregating.
Banange Mbanyumiza ki? Tuli wano Turkey ku airport tugenda London, naye abantu beno mukimanyi bakyatuyisiza dala nga mubisela byo’kunoga pamba. Omwana omuto atutunulide nakaba, mama we natusongamu nagamba ma, ma amazike gago. (I tell you what, we are here at Turkey airport heading to London, but these people are still treating us as slaves, a young kid looked at us and cried. The mum pointed at us and called us Mazike (baboons).
