Thomas Partey wants Arsenal move – but Arsenal must sell

Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey wants to join Arsenal, according to reports.
The Gunners have made major moves bringing in Willian and Gabriel, while completing permanent deals for loanees Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares.
Things seemed to be turning upward for the north London club after winning the FA Cup and Community Shield in the past four weeks.
And Partey is excited by the progress shown at the Emirates and wants to join Mikel Arteta’s side, claims Goal.
They have offered Atleti a deal which would include cash plus Matteo Guendouzi, but the La Liga outfit are holding out for £44.5m, the release clause in Partey’s contract.
To meet that price, the Gunners must look to raise funds and clear some space in their wage bill.
