West Ham Re-Appoint David Moyes As New Manager
December 29, 2019David Moyes has been appointed as West Ham manager and will return for a second spell at the club.
Moyes previously managed the Hammers during the 2017/18 season, winning 9 out of 31 games in charge to keep them in the top flight.
The 55-year-old Scot has signed an 18-month deal and will take charge of the New Year’s Day home game against Bournemouth at London Stadium.
He replaces Manuel Pellegrini, who was sacked after Saturday’s 2-1 home defeat by a much-changed Leicester side.
Following their fourth straight home loss, the Hammers are one place and one point above the relegation zone.
