Yanga SC Sign Uganda Cranes Ace Khalid Aucho

Young SC (Yanga Africans) have completed the signing of Uganda Cranes midfielder Khalid Aucho on a two year contract.

The Cranes midfielder was unveiled this afternoon by the Tanzanian Premier League giants, followed by official announcement on their Twitter handle.

Aucho was accompanied by his agents; Hon. Kayemba Solo and Swangz Avenue boss, Julius Kyazze.

Aucho has been a free agent after leaving Egyptian side Misr El Makkasa last week. Tanzanian giants Simba SC wanted to re-unite him with Tadeo Lwanga but their bid fell short. Ismaily SC were also interested in acquiring his services.

Yanga SC who were knocked out CECAFA Kagame Cup by Express FC on Saturday, are strengthening for the new season and have so far signed Yusuph Athumani, Malian goalkeeper Djidui Diarra (Stade Malien) and Congolese trio of Fiston Mayele (AS Vita), Heritier Makambo (Horoya) and Djuma Shabani (AS Vita).

Yanga SC will represent Tanzania in the 2021/22 CAF Champions League after finishing runners up in the league last season.

Aucho previously played for Simba in Uganda, Tusker and Gor Mahia in Kenya, Serbian sides Red Star Belgrade and OFK Beograd and East Bengal and Churchill Brothers of India.
