Zex Bilangilangi Vows Not To Perform At Diamond Platnumz Show

Dancehall artiste Zex Bilangilangi has announced his withdrawal from the list of Ugandan artistes that had been scheduled to perform alongside Tanzanian Diamond Platnumz at Kololo Indpendence Grounds on July 14, 2023.

The artiste said withdrew from the event because he had not been approached officially by the organisers.

“I have seen adverts going around about the show and I have seen that I am on the list of performers list too. I would like to clarify that neither me or my manager was contacted in regards to performing at the show. My team has made efforts to contact the promoter of the event in vain,” Zex said in a recent social media post.

He further explained that the failure by his team to get a response from the promoter of the event forced him to announce his withdrawal.

“Therefore, I urge my fans who enjoy East Africa music and comedy to attend in big numbers. However, Zex Bilangilangi will not be part of them,” he added.

According to the programme, Zex was supposed to perform from 8:30-8:40pm.
