UNCC Bans Four Artistes And One Dancer From Public Appearance Over Vulgar Music And Indecent Dressing
December 10, 2024The Uganda National Culture Centre (UNCC) has banned four artistes and one dancer from public appearance over vulgar music and indecent dressing.
They said that it is up to them to regulate what is being shared to the public and what they want the entertainment industry to look like.
At first they summoned Gravity Omutujju and Lil Pazzo to their meeting so that they can address the vulgarity in their songs.
None of the musicians showed up and Phina Masanyalaze being a leader said that they felt disrespected that these musicians didn’t show up.
As a punishment UNCC decided to blackmail the artistes and their music. They added two other female artistes like Gloria Bugie and Shakira Shakiraa.
