Pastor Robert Kayanja of the Miracle Centre Cathedral, Rubaga has officially reported Frank Gashumba to the Secretary General of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), Fadil Twalla.
Kayanja who has been exchanging bitter words with Gashumba, grabbed a chance while meeting Fadil at today’s PLU National Religious Leaders’ breakfast meeting at Serena Kigo.
In a meeting attended by several pastors; Grace Lubega, Robert Kayanja, Tom Mugerwa, Dr. Joseph Serwadda, among others, Kayanja told Fadil that this is the first time Gashumba has attacked him. He alleged that Gashumba started attacking him in 2022 which angered him to hit back when the Sisimuka CEO reignited the war this year.
In a Radio 4 talk show with Adam Kungu, Gashumba challenged pastors who claim to perform miracles to go to hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and heal the sick. He also labeled some pastors ‘Miyayu’. Some pastors hit back with abuses with Kayanja cursing him and his four generations. The Miracle Centre Cathedral senior pastor also gave Gashumba a year to turn into a chapati.
Among other pastors who reported Gashumba to Fadil, was Apostle Grace Lubega of Phaneroo, who accused the Sisimuka Uganda CEO of smearing his church with dirt. Gashumba recently revealed that after Mathew Kirabo murdered Desire Mirembe in 2015, he spend the whole night in the night prayers at Phaneroo.
