The President of promoters company as Abitex real name Musinguzi Abbey has revealed reasons why promoters are no longer organising many concerts in Uganda.
He said that there is so much going on that people don’t understand that economically it is not working out.
According to Abitex, the business has become very expensive and there is no government support at all.

Uganda is one of the African countries that benefits from entertainment. Concerts are organised all the time and most people including musicians, vendors and promoters.
The promoter said that Ugandans must now understand that promoters don’t usually have money instead they are struggling at this point.

The taxes of organising concerts in Uganda are also higher and most promoters no longer afford that.

Promoters at this moment want the government funding so that they can get back on their feet.
