Singer and president of musicians under the federation Cindy Sanyu has revealed what is really killing the Ugandan music industry.
She said that the industry has always had a very big competition and in the previous years some people just let their talent speak for them.
However these days everyone feels and thinks that they can sing especially those with money and know that it can facilitate all the expenses to shoot a music video.
According to Cindy Sanyu, people with money and without talent have killed the music industry. She said that it is very difficult for people with just talent and without money to push their music to the next level.

And those with money but have no talent push their music but unfortunately it doesn’t get anywhere which is even more of the bigger problem.
“What’s killing our industry is that Ugandans with money are often the ones who push their music forward, but they lack the talent to compete, especially on the global stage,” Cindy Sanyu, musician
