Eddy Kenzo Speaks About Artiste’s Begging Skills

The president of musicians under the federation, presidential advisor and multiple award winner Eddy Kenzo real name Edirisa Musuuza has spoken about artiste’s begging skills.
He said that it doesn’t sit well with him when someone refers to some musicians as beggars because they are not. All they are fighting for is what is theirs.
Ugandan musicians actually don’t make so much money from their music yet they invest so much in it. The only time they earn good money is when they do concerts and most of them flop once they don’t have hit songs.
Recently there was a letter that was posted on social media from Gen Salim Saleh calling out artistes not to go to his offices in Gulu asking for money. He claimed that he is busy and doesn’t have time to attend to them at the moment.
According to Eddy Kenzo, he received the letter but had no idea that artistes were asking money from Gen Saleh.

He said that it is not the right things to do, everyone needs to work hard to get money not begging from the other people.
He also believed that the people going to ask for money are not true artistes, they are just spoiling chances for other artistes.
