Frank Gashumba, the outspoken social media critic has stood firm and refused to apologise to pastors despite calls from different stakeholders.
At the beginning of this month, Gashumba attacked pastors calling them fake-masters, idiots, insisting that no pastor can perform miracles. The Sisimuka Uganda CEO was responding to a pastor who claimed that he prayed for a lady who had her uterus removed and got pregnant.
Gashumba challenged pastors who claim to perform miracles and staked 100m which he has since increased to 500m, to go to hospital ICUs and pray for the sick.
Since Gashumba’s outburst, several pastors have turned on him with abuses and some threatening to make him look like a chapati in a year. Chief of Defense Forces (CDF) and PLU supremo, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba took to Twitter and ordered Gashumba to apologise. The Muvandimwe has stood firm and vowed not to apologise to anybody.
The war has since spread; Kayanja Jnr, Jesica Kayanja have joined the party attacking Gashumba. On the defensive, Gashumba’s daughter, Sheila and wife, Mutoni are also spitting fire.
